Monographs Director The Monographs, project is a distinct division of artnet that is creating the first online quality and respected library of artists’ monographs. artnet is looking for an individual with an extensive fine art background and relationships in the art world and universities to play the lead role in expansion of the Monographs project. The right candidate will be an accepted and credible authority, be able to function as a leader and must have access to artists and dealers worldwide. In addition, this person must be able to organize and supervise the efforts of art historians preparing the works catalogues for digitization and publication on artnet.com. The Monographs project targets prominent galleries, foundations, estates, and catalogue raisonné committees, with the intention of developing extensive online catalogues and e-book resources for distinguished modern and contemporary artists. As the public face of the Monographs project, the prospective executive should be well respected in the art world, which will enable him/her to negotiate with and attract top names in the art world. The successful candidate will work with the existing Monographs team, as well as collaborate with the artnet marketing and sales staff. Qualifications:

Senior Account Executive Responsibilities: The Senior Account Executive will sell artnet products and services throughout the Fine Arts market. This person will be responsible for identifying and closing new business, meeting a monthly sales quota and managing an existing account base. artnet Galleries

artnet Galleries Internship Responsibilities: This internship is the perfect opportunity to get involved in marketing and the arts community at the entry level. The artnet Galleries Intern reports to the Manager of Client Services and will be responsible for researching and contacting galleries in the United States and internationally, entering new gallery data into artnet’s extensive directory, while also simultaneously serving as a liaison between potential leads and our Sales team. You will also assist our artnet Galleries production team, posting artworks and exhibitions to gallery sites and ensuring that our artist database is kept current. Basic knowledge of art history and an interest in art are recommended. Flexible schedule available, with a 3 to 4 month time commitment required. The internship is unpaid, but we will provide you with a small daily stipend to cover transportation and lunch expenses. Interns may also arrange with their college to receive course credit.
